Shipping Policy

Order processing

All orders confirmed before midnight will ship the next business day. You will receive an email notification when your order has shipped. This includes orders that have selected an 'Express Shipping' option

 

Delivery timeframes:

Orders are shipped from Sydney, NSW. For standard shipping options, please allow 2-8 business days for your delivery based on your location. For Express Shipping options, please refer to the estimated delivery times when selecting your service. For international orders, please allow 2-4 weeks. Please note delivery timeframes are to be used as a guide only and Australian Geographic are not able to guarantee the delivery for your order within these timeframes. We currently can not offer express shipping in all regions.

 

Signature on delivery

All orders will need a signature by a resident of the nominated address upon delivery. If the premise is vacant at the time of delivery, instructions will be left on how to collect your parcel or organise a re-delivery.

 

Return to sender

In the event that your order cannot be delivered and is marked as return to sender due to incorrect address, refusal, not collected in time or other similar reasons, a return fee of $5.50 will be incurred. You will also be responsible to pay for any additional freight charges if you wish for the product to be resent. To avoid disappointment, please ensure you double check all delivery addresses.

 

Shipping to P.O. boxes

We offer shipping to all PO Boxes within Australia.
Delivery to international PO Boxes may not be possible. Where possible, please use a physical delivery address for international orders.

 

International Shipments

Please note that your order does not cover any duties, taxes or other fees which may be payable to the receiving countries customs authorities. We advise you to check with the local authorities to confirm any additional charges before placing an order. We are also unable to mark any shipments as gifts to avoid any additional charges. If you wish to send a gift abroad, it is advised you ship the parcel to yourself and then resend it yourself which you can then do so as a 'gift'.

International orders that are returned will be subject to the conditions of our return policy. Any returns received due to duties or taxes not being paid may be subject to additional costs to cover the return shipping of your order.

We ship to most countries around the globe. If your country is not showing at checkout then unfortunately we are not able to ship directly to that country.

 

Shipping Rates

Domestic shipping rate: We offer flat rate shipping based on the delivery state. We ship Australia Wide

Domestic express shipping: Express shipping is not available to all addresses. We offer flat rate shipping based on the delivery state.

International shipping rate: We offer flat rate shipping worldwide. International shipments do not include any duties or taxes which may be payable upon entry of the order into your country. Please contact your local customs authorities for more information.

Bulk items:

Some bulky items including telescopes may attract a freight surcharge.

 

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. Please keep a copy of this email for your records.
If you haven’t received your order within 8 business days (2-4 weeks for international) of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at sales@australiangeographic.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Please ensure you have read our Return Policy before proceeding with any return or refund request.
