The Celestron Trailseeker Fluid Pan Tripod is perfect for spotting scope, binocular, camera, or small telescope. It is stable, yet lightweight and very easy to operate.
It has sturdy aluminum legs that can be adjusted from 18.9 inches to 70.5 inches and includes a two-way fluid pan head with quick release plate. You can also set each leg to three different angles if the place that you need to set up is not perfectly flat.
This center column of the Trailseeker Fluid Pan Tripod does more than just go up and down. There's a retractable balance hook at the bottom end of the column. This device is helpful during windy days to make the tripod more stable. Just hang something heavy from the hook and you can see the difference.
The tripod has a two-way fluid pan head. The single handle makes the head easy to move around and the oversized knob adjusts the tension and locks the head in place. A quick release plate with standard 1/4-20 thread mount makes it easy to attach a spotting scope, binocular, camera, or small telescope to the tripod.
Two of the legs have padded wraps to provide protection for your shoulder when carrying it. The legs' feet are rubberized to keep them from sliding on wet surfaces.
