Introducing the next generation in SCT telescopes: the Celestron NexStar Evolution 6!
This portable Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope has a rechargable lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery with enough power for 10 hours of stargazing. The power system will also sense when battery levels are low and goes into power-saving mode to keep your telescope running for as long as possible.
The Celestron Evolution telescope is great for astrophotography. The fork-mounted telescope has brass worm gears to minamize vibrations and support weightier cameras. As your astrophotography progresses, you can add the Pro HD Wedge (not included) to achieve longer exposures and more detailed astrophotos.
Control your telescope through your iPhone, iPad or Android with the Celestron app. The mobile app replaces the traditional telescope hand control for a 100% wireless experience. Just hold your smart device up to the night sky and when you find an object you'd like to view, tap the screen. Your Evolution telescope will automatically align to the object.
The computerised telescope features GoTo technology, a 6-inch apeture and StarBright XLT optical coatings. The accessory trays store up to 7 eyepieces and an adjustable red LED light to help you see your telescope accessories in the dark.
While setting up your telescope use the leg etchings to help you achieve a level, uniform height. The Wifi telescope also features a USB charge port for your smart device.
What can I see with the NexStar Evolution 8?
Some objects may require additional eyepieces to see clearly, sold separately. Visibility subject to local conditions and positions of objects.
