There are 2 discs of the night sky to choose from - the southern sky, with or without constellation names and markings. The 5 speed setting allows you watch in wonder as the stars move across your ceiling slowly or quickly, and with its shooting star feature you'll always be captivated! Using the date dial and time scale, you can even adjust the Planetarium to show exactly what stars are visible outside at that moment!
The set also includes a guide to the constellations of the zodiac, which tells you how to locate each of these constellations in the sky and provides you with the mythology behind them as well.

Bought this for my 8 year old girl and she loves it. Now my 7 year old boy will get one also as he always goes to his sisters room at bed time to look at the stars...beautiful present, this one
